It arrived at our lab an external WD 750GB with USB PCB. Diagnosed with, 2 out of 6, troubled heads. Not only its necessary a head swap but a specialized work has to be done to the PCB in order to be read from the machine
In the specific hard drive, two sets of heads were changed in order to read the surface. We read 97% of the surface and we had data loss less than 3%. The customer was fully satisfied with the 430GB recovered.
